Every decision we make — about teachers, technology, and processes — is evaluated against child safety first.
Full Transparency
Parents are welcome to observe any lesson at any time without prior notice. Nothing in our classrooms is hidden.
Verified Teachers Only
No teacher may conduct a lesson before their background check, credentials, and safeguarding training are confirmed.
Clear Reporting
Any concern — however small — can be reported to our safeguarding lead. All reports are taken seriously.
1. Scope and Purpose
This policy applies to all teachers, staff, and contractors working with Voice of Ommah Quran Academy who interact with students under the age of 18. It covers online lessons conducted through our digital classroom platform.
Our purpose is to create a safe, respectful, and structured learning environment where children can learn the Quran without any risk of harm, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct.

We actively encourage parents to be present during lessons, particularly for younger children. A parent or guardian does not need to be in the same room but should be in the home and contactable during the session.
5. Platform Safety
All lessons are conducted through a purpose-built digital classroom that is separate from general-purpose video call platforms. Our platform does not allow file sharing outside of pre-approved lesson materials, and all sessions are logged.
Teacher access is restricted to their scheduled lessons. Teachers cannot view student personal data beyond what is necessary for lesson delivery.
6. Reporting a Concern
If you have any concern — however small — please report it immediately. We treat every report as serious and will respond within 24 hours.

All concerns are treated confidentially. Where a concern involves potential harm to a child, we are required to report this to the relevant statutory authorities.
7. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as required by changes in best practice or legislation. Parents are notified of significant updates. The current version was last reviewed in July 2026.
